If you are having an  issue with your monitor not showing a display on the screen and cannot see anything, these are the steps you can use to see if there is something wrong with the monitor. First check to see what is the model of the monitor, example Acer, CTL, etc. If it is a CTL 170Lx monitor, then follow these steps.

  1. Unplug the AC power from the back of monitor
  2. While holding down the “> and <” buttons reconnect the AC to the monitor
  3. The lights on monitor should blink several times
  4. Release the buttons and this should send the reset signal to the monitor
  5. Might need to be repeated several time for reset to take
  6. If still not resetting, contact Technical Support, 877.932.6301 – Option 2, for assistance
